Obi Ezeadi is a force of authentic, transformative leadership in his community. A loving father and devoted husband, Obi's roots as a first-generation American shape his relentless dedication to serving the people. Born in Nebraska to a hardworking mother and a public school teacher, Obi's upbringing was an inspirational journey from poverty to economic self-sufficiency—a testament to the resilience and entrepreneurial spirit instilled in him.

Serving as a City Councilor for Westminster, Obi didn't just break barriers as the second Black councilor in 110 years; he also garnered the highest number of votes ever recorded for a city councilor in the city's history. But his true impact is in his record of transformative change such as approval of a new water treatment plant, ensuring clean drinking water for generations to come. Obi passed laws that promoted economic growth and he spearheaded the largest-ever investment in road infrastructure, as well as housing, and behavioral health services for firefighters.

Obi is pro-union with an expansive leadership career in housing, healthcare, transportation & tech. And he is an active board member of several game-changing nonprofits.
